Volunteers will check in pre-registered participants at TBD and help pass out the participant bibs, t-shirts, goody bags, and any other race information to the participants prior to race day.
Day of Packet Pick-up volunteers will check in pre-registered participants and help pass out the participant packets, t-shirts, goody bags, and any other race information to the participants prior to race start at Montrose Harbor. Day of Registration volunteers will help assist staff in registering participants on race day. Jobs include registering their information, handing out packets, shirts, as well as goody bags.
Volunteers will collect and store the participants gear in numerical order by bib number until it is picked up after the event has completed.
Medical volunteers are needed to care and assist athletes at the start line, along the course and at the finish. Must be a credentialed professional; background checks will be made once you are accepted onto a team. (Physicians, Nurses, Podiatrists, Athletic Trainers, Physical Trainers, Chiropractors, etc).
Station Captains will be assigned at a later date. Station Captains will be in the person in charge of the station (i.e. aid station, gear check, etc). They will direct and lead volunteers during the task assigned. Station Captains must be older than 21 years old and have had previous race experience.
Volunteers will set-up/tear-down stations and serve donut holes to participants at a specific location along the course.
